Testimonials
After attending the one-day workshop at Imaging USA-Nashville this year, I learned an immense amount and was so inspired to focus on newborns. It took my interest into passion territory. This course gave me a solid foundation to begin and, although I haven’t had a newborn yet, I have shot multiple six-month olds and have utilized my skills gained from this course to have stellar sessions with those babies. I will have a newborn soon and cannot wait!

So many! I guess i major lightbulb went on when i realized i could NOT edit every single photo…. WOW and of course transitions. I learned so much and will revert back to the info so much I am sure. I took this course to heighten my skils in all areas but especially maternity and newborn. I can already tell an improvement in my photos, I have started a referral program and am working on getting in with a few local vendors whom I think target my ideal client! I am so glad I took this class!! Thank you Ana!

I cannot wait to perfect transitions with pregnancy, also wrapping and posing newborns. I always feel awkward guiding but that will come with experience. As far as editing I need to get it right in camera because I struggle most with skin tones during post processing. I also dont always get consistant results which creates more work in post. I can’t wait to apply some of your editing techniques. My aha moment is to increase workflow and spend less time with post processing. Also to gain more confidence in when doing in person sales. I constantly second guess myself and am uncomfortable discussing prices so I’m sure that does come across sometimes. I also need the confidence to get myself out there to find my target clients. Thanks so much for all of this information and inspiration!

I really took the class for just the Newborn portion but I have fallen in love with Maternity!! I have learned so much like: Transitioning, bracketing, getting the sell-able shot and then perfecting it, how not to take so much equipment and props to a home session, work through the cry and so much more! I really am excited to get to work on more Newborns. My only disappointment was having clear enough instructions to post my images for review. But other than that THIS HAS BEEN GREAT!!! And lastly I have realize that I need to “Get off the pot” and put myself out there so my business can grow like I know that it can. Thanks Ana!!

PS i had a newborn in yesterday and go a shot in the first 20 minutes ( practice pays off!) Thanks Ana!

I can not begin to sum up what i have learned! but i will say that i really want to focus on getting it right in camera, because i think i relied on editing and that doesnt make me a good photographer, just a good editor. i also learned that if i am not confident in my work, then no one else will be either. I have learned to just go with the flow, er and to actually have a work flow haha. i just loved seeing you in action! you are amazing! thanks for everything you have taught me! xo
